Action Packed Saturday At Wollongong City Raceway

There is certainly going to be no shortage of action this Saturday (August 28) at Wollongong City Raceway with the running of the latest rounds of the Saturday Night Kart Series and the Pro Moto Series.

Over 100 competitors, across the both Junior and Senior classes, are primed for battle in the latest round of the hotly contested Saturday Night Series, while the Pro Moto Series is going to have lots of fierce competition across their classes, especially in Elite Water-cooled.

The format for the Saturday Night Series is going to be practice and qualifying sessions, followed by three heat races and then the all important final which decides the overall round winner in the respective classes. A similar format will be held for the Pro Moto Series on Saturday morning with practice and qualifying sessions, followed by three heat races and then the final – which decides the overall round winner.

Senior classes that make up the Saturday Night Series include: TAG Heavy, TAG Light, TAG Restricted, Open Performance, Senior National and both Clubman Light and Heavy along with the Junior classes which consist of Midgets, Rookies, Junior Performance and Junior National. The classes in the Pro Moto Series are currently on Elite Water-cooled and Mini Motard.

Action for the Saturday Night Series is scheduled to blast into action at 2pm and finish at 9pm, while the Pro Moto Series continues on Saturday morning at 9am and goes through to 1pm.

Wollongong City Raceway is located on the corner of West Dapto Road and the Princes Highway in Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW.
